First Graph Deployment for DoD IL5
by Redhorse with Senzing Inside
Redhorse Corporation has successfully deployed the first production instance of GraphAware Hume enabled with Senzing® entity resolution for the Department of Defense (DoD) Impact Level 5 (IL5). Hosted on the United States Air Force’s Cloud One environment, the connected graph-enabled data solution is built within a fully accredited DevSecOps platform, setting a new precedent for mission-ready connected data analytics systems.
The program, led by the U.S. Air Force (USAF), marks the first time a connected data analytics platform with advanced entity resolution has been deployed at IL5 – a classification that covers the most sensitive controlled unclassified information. The initiative enables analysts to explore connected data in real time, spot non-obvious relationships, and harness the power of entity resolved knowledge graphs and interactive graph analytics powering downstream AI applications within a secured, scalable environment.
Built for DoD IL5. Delivered by Redhorse with Senzing Inside™
Redhorse Corporation, a long-time innovator in government digital transformation, partnered with Senzing, Neo4J, GraphAware and Second-Front Systems. Redhorse was responsible for deploying the solution that complied with DoD security requirements. Cloud hosting support was provided by Second-Front Systems, an accredited provider of DoD environments.
“We look forward to supporting this important USAF-led effort to deliver the game-changing power of knowledge graphs and graph-enabled AI applications for mission-critical analytics,” said Vince Bridgeman, SVP of National Security Services at Redhorse.
“The fact that this is live at IL5 today — in a fully accredited, mission-ready environment merging leading corporate capabilities — speaks volumes about what’s possible when the right partners come together with the right technology,” said a representative for the program. “This package deployment is a huge milestone for the Air Force and for the broader community. It sets a new standard for how we can use secure, graph-powered analytics to support critical mission outcomes,” said Jessica Freeborn-Lexel, Intelligence Project Manager at the U.S. Air Force.
Senzing – Making Data Meaningful and Reliable
Senzing entity resolution technology plays a foundational role in the deployment by enabling the graph analytics platform to make sense of and better visualize fragmented, inconsistent and intentionally obfuscated data. The result is a system that offers 360-degree entity views in real time, even when records are incomplete, duplicated or deliberately manipulated.
Senzing operates inside air-gapped, cloud and hybrid environments, with zero data flowing back to Senzing Inc. – a critical privacy and compliance factor in DoD IL5 environments.
Designed for Public Sector Missions
More than 75% of public sector customers use Senzing for bad-guy hunting. And this deployment for the Air Force demonstrates how connected data platforms can meet the practical demands of real-world missions without compromising security, scalability or speed. This solution is ideally suited for:
• Bad guy hunting
• Counterterrorism analysis and watchlist monitoring
• Investigation and link analysis across multiple agencies
• Detection of fraud, waste and abuse in complex networks
• Continuous vetting and insider threat detection
• Supply chain and vendor risk assessment
Senzing technology is in production at multiple federal agencies, including the ), which deployed it for fraud detection. Using Senzing to unify and resolve data on applicants and their representatives, USCIS was able to speed up investigations, increase insight accuracy and reduce analyst burden – all while remaining compliant with audit and review requirements.
A Proven Model for Secure, Scalable Innovation
This deployment is a scalable blueprint built for operation inside classified and controlled environments. Modular and compliant by design, this connected data analytics model is ready for replication across additional agencies and mission areas.
“Redhorse is a great partner that helps us succeed with government customers,” said Will Layton, SVP Global Sales & Public Sector at Senzing. “This deployment showcases a real-world entity resolved knowledge graph – built on Senzing, GraphAware and Neo4j – that helps analysts identify threats faster and act with confidence.”
Senzing entity resolution serves as the core enabler for advanced graph analytics. Redhorse delivers secure integration and DevSecOps expertise. Together, they provide government organizations with a proven, accredited path to harness the full potential of entity resolved knowledge graphs and interactive graph analytics for national security and mission intelligence.
